“I only use scrap, because that is what God has done with me. He found me in the bottom of the scrap pile, a mangled remnant of who I once was. He turned me over in His Loving Hand and smiled upon me. He intimately realized purpose in me, scars and all.

Now I search the old iron scrap yards for rusted-out pieces that remind me of me. When I find one, many times it is under layers of dirt, long forgotten.

The problem is, many people dont realize that being in this decayed, destroyed condition can be a beautiful thing - with the right attitude. With a willing spirit, God has great purpose for you. It is a unique combination, scars and a will surrendered to Him. These ugliest of scraps are The Great Creators favored pieces to work with, because they have a powerful story to tell. Likewise, the scraps I find are my favorite pieces to work with too. They are beautiful, original and bring character to my work. God wants me to show you that He is even more passionate about finding you.

At my lowest point, God found me. He whispered to me to make a cross out of scraps, and I made one. My journey to healing finally began. Now I pray in the studio every day for the creative Holy Spirit to guide me. From the many hardships and trials in our lives, and those around us, it is easy to get beat down and discouraged. However, in recovery, I realize Gods will and purpose in it all. He is, without a doubt, using this for something much larger than myself. I am doing what I was meant to do. My sincere prayer is that along the journey of life, you too will know Gods full purpose for you.”

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,

"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give

you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29 : 11

And we know that in all things God works for the good of

those who love Him, who have been called according

to His purpose. Romans 8:28

But seek first His kingdom, and His righteousness; and all

these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:3
